"Janice" was created from tidbits of Christmas and birthday paper and fringe left over from various other projects. The peacock feathers represent how proud and cocky she could be at times.

Since Janice was, in real life, a butterfly that never felt like she ever really got out of her cocoon, that reminded me of her. Like Janice, this pretty little birdhouse didn't last long due to the Mississippi weather.
